Our furry friends lead the way on our converted Kingsley Holgate Expedition Trail, which is normally reserved for demonstrating the off-road capabilities of Land Rover vehicles, for the ultimate doggie walk. Dogs and their loved ones mingled in a dedicated socialising area with splash pools and professional handlers who were available to keep animals in check if necessary.

It was a weekend of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Royal Pooch & Co grooming services were there ready to make coats shine with a special wash and dry , teeth cleaned and nails clipped so our friend enjoyed the day in style. The Fourways Veterinary Hospital were on hand and gave free de-worming and basic assessments to canine visitors, and offered discount vouchers for microchipping.

The SA Guide Dog association was there for the weekend to sell toys and calendars, and accept donations, but most importantly offered free hugs and cuddles from puppies and seasoned guide dogs. Experience Johannesburg’s TLC on the Track restaurant was open for business, and doggies even got a special selection of treats from a dedicated menu.

It was a wonderful weekend full of wagging tails and best of all, the ticket proceeds were donated to our neighbour, the SA Guide Dog Association.
