Convenience and confidence. InControl Protect delivers a clever Remote Smartphone App, Optimised Land Rover Assistance and SOS Emergency call. Check your fuel levels remotely, find your vehicle in a busy car park, record your journeys and even check that you haven’t left a window open – all through a handy smartphone app.

In the event of a breakdown, Optimised Land Rover Assistance transmits location and vehicle diagnostic data to your recovery company.

In a more serious incident, SOS Emergency Call notifies the emergency services of your location.

HOW TO ACTIVATE AN INCONTROL PROTECT ACCOUNT

In order to benefit from the InControl Protect services, you need to create your account online, registering your vehicle and activating the InControl services you have purchased.

INCONTROL REMOTE SMARTPHONE APP

The InControl Remote Smartphone App lets you prepare for a trip by checking fuel levels and range remotely. You can find your vehicle in a crowded car park or check that you locked the doors and closed the windows. Download the app now – it’s free and includes a demonstration mode.

INCONTROL REMOTE ON APPLE WATCH

Updated specifically for Apple Watch, Land Rover’s new InControl Remote app keeps you in touch with your car at a glance. Now you can locate your vehicle, check your fuel level, range and dashboard alerts, all from your wrist. The app is fully compatible with existing InControl Remote and InControl Protect accounts.

SOS EMERGENCY CALL

In a critical situation, SOS Emergency Call will bring the emergency services to your exact location. If you are involved in an accident in which the vehicle's airbags deploy you will automatically be put in touch with professional help. Alternatively, you can press the SOS Emergency Call button in the car to summon assistance.

OPTIMISED LAND ROVER ASSISTANCE

In the unlikely event of your vehicle breaking down, the Optimised Land Rover Assistance button will use positioning and vehicle health information to guide a recovery service to your location. It sends details of the problem so the attending engineer is fully briefed and prepared on arrival, minimising delay.
